Suey!

Big game for the Cats. We have not had an SEC road victory over a team not Miss St or Vandy since 2002. A win today and it is looking like the Cats will be ranked inside the top 15 with a Thursday Showdown against the Gamecocks in a week and a half.
  • Today is the my niece's first birthday party. On this day I am a proud uncle of a beautiful little girl, but she will not remember a thing. This is a day for her parents (my brother and sister-in-law) to show her off and for her to see how much cake she can get all over her face and clothes
  • Sam Bright on today's game: "I really feel like Kentucky should dominate this game, the only problem is their vaunted passing game. Luckily they really don't have anyone that can run the ball very well so I think we should be OK"
  • If you really want to make a ton of money on a business, open some sort of a business involving weddings. It doesn't really matter how much your product is or how outlandish your idea is, someone will pay tons of money for it

For today's game, I see DMac taking his 28" rims and running all over our defense. Fortunately, the Hogs defense may be just as bad as UL's. They have a starting DT suspended this game for using his helmet to hit another player last week, and one of their starting corners is converting from the safety position (where he played last week). Dre' continues the black horse Heisman march, and throws for 350 and 5 tds. Cats 45-Hogs38

Here's my post-game rundown:
Saturday's win against Arkansas was a pretty good start in the SEC. Overall, however, I'm very disappointed in our team this year. Sure they've won a game or two, but where's the excitement? I miss the Hal Mumme days when there were more fake punts and throws on 4th down. He brought both honor and excitement to our program. We miss you, Hal!!!
